testDear Members and Fellow Travelers,

2018 is coming to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to provide a brief overview of the projects we have been working on this year and offer our warmest season’s greetings.

We will be on a mini winter break from 22nd December until 7th January, with limited access to phone and email, so if you have any pressing matters that you would like us to attend to, please let us know as soon as possible.

In footballing terms, 2018 was, of course, dominated by the Russian World Cup. For us, this meant preparing and coordinating the Fans’ Embassies programme, which, we think it is fair to say, was once again an unqualified success.

During July, we brought supporters organisations from across the continent together for the second FSE Summer Network Meeting, which took place in Gijón (Spain). The meeting proved to be invaluable, helping us to gather and share information, and, more importantly, identify common problems and solutions.

Away from the big events, we continued to work with supporters’ groups on away ticket pricing and travel bans, as well as the increasing threat of domestic league fixtures being hosted abroad.

In 2019, the FAN.TASTIC FEMALES exhibition will continue touring across Germany and Europe and we will launch our Erasmus+ Sport project, ‘OUT – Fighting Homophobia and Empowering LGBT+ Stakeholders in Football’.

None of this would be possible without you.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The FSE Committee & Coordinating Office
