testFollowing on from last year FSE is appealing to all travelling supporters to share their experiences abroad by filling in the FSE Away Fans Survey.

Football fans are facing various challenges when traveling to their team’s European away matches, from late fixtures to visa requirements, ticket prices or policing style. In order to reach an improvement of the situation for away fans, Football Supporters Europe (in cooperation with FanVox) launched in 2017 a survey to monitor conditions in away sectors.

Following a first successful season, during which 52 UCL and UEL European stadiums were covered*, this year’s survey is expanded to the newly set up UEFA Nations’ League and the EURO 2020 qualifiers. National team fans are invited to share their feedback on traveling and hosting conditions, starting with the upcoming 1st leg of the Nations’ League this weekend.

Travelling supporters can answer the survey after every of their European away tours and provide information on all relevant topics as travel arrangements, ticket fares, allocation, policing/stewarding, catering, etc. We hope for many contributions in order to keep the FSE Away Fans Survey a reliable and important source of information for our campaigning on minimum standards for away supporters in Europe.

FSE and FanVox will at a later stage evaluate the information provided and publish a report based on its findings, in order to offer a clear picture of the situation within the whole UEFA region and to liaise with the football authorities on possible improvements.

Paul Corkrey, member of the FSE Committee and long-term representative of the Welsh Fans' Embassy team, stated: “Football supporters who want to contribute and share their experiences – be it in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europe League, UEFA Nations League or EURO 2020 qualifying matches – are invited to take part. Their experiences are the most vital part of our argumentation towards football governing bodies and other stakeholders.”
