Read more ...Last Monday (3rd of July 2017) UEFA published a report regarding the safety of using pyrotechnics inside football stadiums.

In 2016 Football Supporters Europe accepted an invitation from UEFA to take part in a working group on pyrotechnics. We regarded this involvement of a voice for football supporters as a welcome improvement on the previous practice of these discussions taking place over our heads and without fans´ participation.

On March 8th, we announced the member driven project “Fan.Tastic Females” which will be a grand exhibition telling not only the history of women football supporters, but also showing the diversity of female fans inside the stands today.

The exhibition will in due time be travelling around Europe – accompanied by a website with substantial information.

Read more ...Football Supporters Europe continues to collect much-needed donations through its #secondfanshirt campaign.

Supporters donate team shirts, which are then sold on online, and the funds collected are then donated to fan-led campaigns welcoming refugees to Europe. This month the FSE Committee decided to make a contribution of 1000 Euros to “Football For All”.

Where there are books or interviews about a football fanbase, women are very rarely the ones telling the story. Likewise, female fans are hardly ever in the center of any legendary fan stories. Much more often, however, the absence of women inside the stands is an issue of both positive and negative comments in football. But is this really reflecting reality?
