The FSE Committee is composed of the members elected at the Annual General Meeting at the European Football Fans Congress, which takes place every two years, plus representation from the Hamburg-based Coordination Office and from the FSE “on-topic divisions”, semi-autonomous departments charged with responsibility for the development of specific areas of work undertaken by FSE, in addition to usual working groups.
The Fans' Embassy concept can be traced back to services provided for supporters of the England and Germany teams at the 1990 World Cup in Italy, and has evolved through subsequent tournaments.
The implementation of preventive and social measures as well as offering structural support for travelling supporters at international tournaments are the main concepts of the Fans' Embassy. These have proven to be valuable and significant additions to the conventional security measures during all major football events in the past 25 years.
The FSE Anti-Discrimination Division was established in 2013. With this group within Football Supporters Europe (FSE), we want to organise our joint activities against discrimination better and connect all our members with a focus of activities in this area. Our overall aim is to extend the network of fans active in this area, our knowledge, to learn from each other, to increase the number of cross-country activities with each other and to widen our expertise in this field.
